Section 3 Preparation before Use

3.1 Emulator Preparation

Unpack the emulator and prepare it for use as follows:

WARNING

READ the reference sections shaded in Figure 3.1 before

using the emulator product. Incorrect operation will damage

the user system and the emulator product. The USER

PROGRAM will be LOST.

Check the components against the component list

provided at the rear side of the component box

Start the High-performance Embedded Workshop

Turn on the user system

When the emulator

is used first.

is used for second

time or later.

- Connect the host computer to the emulator

- Connect the emulator to the user system
